Gödöllő Dormitories

The Gödöllő Dormitories are located on the Szent István Campus of the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences, which was established on February 1st, 2021.

The Gödöllő Dormitories consists of a series of connected multi-storey buildings.

There are rooms with different designs and capacities on the different levels, in order to cater for all our residents needs .

We are waiting for our future residents with housing units with various levels of comfort.

Each building has communal spaces where you can converse, study and relax. Programmes organized by students groups are held regularly in the conference halls of the dormitory. This includes the active Colleges for Advanced Studies, which are waiting for new entrants. Independent organizations often hold classes and lectures here too, where everyone is warmly welcome.

Currently, 7 dormitory buildings provide accommodation for students.

Building “A”
The three storey building was renovated in 2007, during which 129 double-bed, and 14 triple-bed rooms were created. Each room has a shower, toilet and a refrigerator. Cooking is possible in the common kitchens on each floor. It has a direct corridor connection with buildings B and D. There are study rooms on each floor and a coffee machine on the first floor for the comfort of students.

Building “B”
The four storey building was renovated in 2007, during which 115 double, 8 triple and 2 accessible single rooms were created, as well as 42 guest rooms. Each room has a shower, toilet and a refrigerator, and some also have a balcony. Cooking is possible in the common kitchens on each floor. It has a direct corridor between buildings A, C and D as well as an elevator.

Study rooms, a laundry room, a restaurant, a buffet, a drink vending machine, a gym, and an outdoor exercise park are there for the convenience of the students. Next to and in front of the building there is a free student car park and bicycle storage. Building B is the main building of the dormitories, it houses the reception, the dormitory directorate, and our event rooms.

Building “C”
The four storey building was built in the 1960’s, unfortunately it hasn’t been renovated since then. Currently, the men’s and female’s water block, and the bathing facilities are under renovation. Altogether, there are 141 three bed rooms with balcony and a washbasin in the rooms. Shared showers and toilets are on every level of the building, as well as kitchens and study rooms.

On the ground floor there are two laundry rooms. It has a direct corridor connection to building B. There are several parking lots around the building.

Building „D”
The three storey building was built in 2006, during which 21 2×2-bed, and 17 2×1-bed apartment-like rooms were created. Each room consists of two bedrooms, a cooking area (with a refrigerator and a hot plate), a shower and a toilet. Elevator operates in the building, this building has a direct corridor connections to buildings B and F. Several study-rooms and a laundry room for the convienence of the students. The prayer room is located here too. There is a student parking lot behind the building.

Building „E” – rooms
The building built in 2006 is divided into two parts. On the ground floor – which has a direct corridor connection to building F – there are 37 double bed rooms, with their own cooking area, shower and toilet.

Building „E” – apartments
The building, built in 2006 has been expanded with 14, 8 person two storey apartments, with an external entrance for each. These consist of 8 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen.

Building „F”
The three storey building was built in 2006 and consists of 30 two bed rooms and 27 quadruple rooms. Each room has a cooking area (with a refrigerator and hot plate), a shower and a toilet. An elevator operates in the building and it has a direct corridor connections with building D and E. Several study-rooms and a laundry room serve the convenience of the students.
