Kaposvár Dormitories

In the green zone of Kaposvár Campus, there are two dormitories that are in the same area as the educational buildings. The dormitories also have the necessary tools for useful leisure time (e.g.: beer benches, cauldrons, bicycles). We place great emphasis on nurturing traditions and organizing community programs. The Culture Hall hosts many cultural events, such as student parties, film clubs and competitions. In each dormitory, 24-hour concierge service, central and dormitory parking facilities ensure uninterrupted operation. The Campus has an ATM, a restaurant, a small shop and a buffet.

The buildings are also home to dormitory coordinators at each level to ensure that the Dormitory Policy is followed.

Excellent possibilities for doing several sports are provided by the gym and the different sports ground (running, football, basketball, tennis, body building, etc.) of the university.

New Dormitory
In the New Dormitory, which was built in 2005 in the green area of the Campus, all rooms are double-bedded, equipped with a refrigerator, separate shower and toilet. In the rooms, internet and Wi-Fi connection options are provided for the students. The dormitory has a computer technology classroom, a conditioning room, a laundry room and a kitchen on each floor. The printer and the photocopy machine can also be used in the dormitory.

Csukás Zoltán Dormitory
This dormitory is also located on the Campus. It was renovated in 2007, there are also double rooms with refrigerators, each wing and each floor is equipped with bathroom blocks and kitchens, and the possibility of connecting to the Internet and Wi-Fi. The use of the computer technology classroom, study room and laundry room is also provided.

Kaffka Margit Dormitory
In addition to the above, the Kaposvár Campus also includes the Kaffka Margit Dormitory, which is located in the heart of the city, in the same place as the Rippl-Rónai Art Institute building. Its rooms have three beds, each floor has a shared shower, toilet and kitchen. In this dormitory, you can also find the computer technology classroom as well as Internet and Wi-Fi access, a study room, a conditioning room and a laundry room.

Please note that in your case, you will be accommodated in the New Dormitory. Since the dormitory has limited places, newcoming scholarship holders have priority. Senior students’ accommodation in our dormitories is subject to their good behaviour and academic performance. If you got accepted to a Rippl-Rónai Art Institute faculty (e.g.: Film and Media Studies, Fotography), you have the opportunity to stay at Kaffka Margit Dormitory.
